- Feeding: once flowering or cropping starts, feed weekly with a suitable vegetable feed.
- Harvest: May to October. Pick regularly to encourage more growth.
- Cook: Salads, sauces, roasted with herbs.
Care hints
Use a pot with drainage holes, mulch in hot weather and check leaves regularly for slugs, aphids or mildew. Remove tired leaves to improve airflow.
Top tip
Small, regular care beats occasional big jobs. A few minutes of watering, checking and picking keeps plants healthy and productive.
Donation idea
Suggested donations are flexible. Please give what feels right, or simply use the plant as a conversation starter about dementia awareness.
